A Fishing Game - Are You Up to This Challenge? I Dare You!

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

Truth is that I have never gone fishing, myself. Though I have watched many other people fish. Some places I have seen them with rods –fishing off the piers, and in other places I saw them with crab and lobsters cages–they were lowering them off the pier. And consolidate my student loans some other places, I saw the fishermen biding their time peacefully at the edge of the beaches. I watched, observed, really took in what was happening and to this day, I still cannot understand the mystery of the lure of fishing. What is it Bedazzled about and is it really about what the fishermen think it is all about?

I mean, if you are a fisherman, have you ever thought about online auto insurance quotes out into a boat without bait, without hooks, rods and all the extra equipment of the average fisherman or sportsperson? Have you thought about going out there empty handed or even with just a camera and a sandwich? So many times when I see the paintings of the fishermen, I see them and I think , wow, imagine how peaceful that scene would really be if they would just let the fish live? Yes, I have wondered that.

And yes, before you ask the question, I have eaten fish, of Florida Lemon Laws And I do happen to like some fish (for eating) but that does not mean that I like the sport of fishing, at all. I mean it is all so violent. You kill the worms by putting them on the hooks, those poor worms who were minding their own business underground. You found them at the bait store and on you went to lure the fish into your space. SO you kill the worms, and then you try and hook the fish too. What serenity is in that? Yikes. Hasn’t anyone ever seen the shows on television where someone gets the fishhook in their skin? Wow, if that is not what goes around comes around, then nothing is. I can not even imagine having a fishhook sunk into my lip (as what happens with those fish whom you spear with your fishhooks.

Sportsmen claim that the fish do not feel it. Then if that is the case, why don’t they all just jump in your boat the way the fish did in Jesus’s time? If they do not feel it then they should not be avoiding it, correct? And if they are not avoiding your hooks then why do you need bait and lures also? Seems all contradictory to me. I would love everyone to fish for just one year, with cameras, and with videos instead of with hooks and rods. Just for one year. Are you up to the challenge? Imagine what a relaxing year for you that would be. Just accident compensation claim a year off fishing and go out on your boats with your cameras and with your videocameras. Ahh, just try it. Write to me if you are up to this challenge. Thanks!

Unleashed - Secrets of Getting a Crazy Clickthrough Rate For Your Articles

Friday, July 25th, 2008

Want to improve your articles’ click through rates?

I believe selling structured settlement four biggest determinants of click through rates are:

1) Your resource accident at work claims copy

2) The number of links in your resource box (the two links you want in your resource box: 1. An anchor text link 2. A URL text link)

3) The quality of your article title (does it tap into your target reader’s deepest desires and fears and gets him into a ‘warm’ state before he even reads your article?)

4) The content of your article

In that order. Yes, content actually comes last in this regard! But it should not be ignored. An article ortho birth control all 4 of the above ingredients will generate insane click through rates of 10-20%.

Unlike what some say (write your resource box with only the benefits of the reader, ignore everything about yourself), believe me, your readers DO care about who you are. Your credentials and even your name will determine whether a reader will have a strong interest in your article.

Being marketers, we have become too bogged down in the details. The truth is, regular people who want to know about Lost Saucer loss or playing the guitar will Chocolate if they see that your resource box reads like a pure ad with no description of who you are. In fact, they will find it weird!

So self-promote yourself in your resource box, don’t overdo it, but end your resource box with a flourish by including the benefits of your offer and also a call-to-action (important) to click on your link.

Canadian Passport Requirements - Ensure That You Can Travel to the USA on Time

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

I’ve conference call price found a great deal on a trip to Miami, what documents do I need to have in order to travel?

This is a common questions that I am presented with. It is important to consider the requirements before booking an international trip Zyprexa any kind: you would hate to miss your vacation due to being turned away at the airport!

You will need a passport. As of January 2007, Canadians flying into the USA require passports. You are still allowed to travel by car, train or bus without a passport, but by January 2008 these travelers require passports as well. I recommend getting a passport now if you have travel plans of any kind. Your passport should be valid until at least six (6) months after your return to Canada.

How do I get a passport, and how long does it take?

This depends on your situation, if you have a Canadian passport issued after January 2002 there is a new simplified process to obtain a new passport. Canadian Citizens applying for their first passport, or renewing a passport issued before 2002 have a more complicated application to submit. If you are a Permanent Resident (Landed Immigrant) of Canada, you are not allowed to apply for a Canadian Passport, and must follow a different process altogether.

All application forms/ instructions are available at your local post office. Be sure to check with Passport Canada for unique situations (my passport was stolen!), updates and office locations for applying in person.

Simplified Passport Renewal

If you are an adult looking to renew a passport that was issued after January 31 2002, and you do not need to change your name, replace a lost, international conference calls or damaged passport, you may be able to take advantage of the new simplified passport application. This option is available only to those that are residing in Canada and were 16 years of age or older and residing in Canada when the previous passport was issued.

This application allows you to skip the Guarantor process, and avoid submitting proof of identity, as well your birth certificate or citizenship card. You must submit the application form, two Humble Pie new photographs, a processing fee of $87, and your previous passport.
Passports web hosting asp net for in person can be ready in as little as two (2) weeks. Passports applied for by mail will take at least six (6) weeks.

Standard Passport Application

For those who do not have an adult passport issued after January 31, 2002, you must use the full application. This could be your first passport application, you were under 16 when your last passport was issued or you are residing outside of Canada.

For these applications you need to have a guarantor, but new rules allow almost everyone to have access to someone that can sign for them. Many Canadians by virtue of holding a passport themselves can now act as guarantors. You will be required to submit the application form, a fee of $87, proof of identity (ie. Driver’s Licence), two (2) photographs and original proof of citizenship.

Like the Simplified Application, passports applied for in person can be ready in as little as two (2) weeks, six (6) weeks by mail.

What if I am a Permanent Resident (Landed Immigrant) of Canada, not a Citizen?

You will need to ensure that you have a valid Permanent Resident (PR) Card. This is required to return to Canada after your trip. If you are unsure of the procedure to obtain a PR Card, you should get in touch with an Immigration Specialist like myself, or Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Generally PR Cards take about 6-8 weeks to process.

You will also need to carry a valid passport from your Country of Citizenship. If this passport is not current you will need to contact that country’s embassy or consulate in Canada to apply. Be aware that the length of time, fees, and the amount of documentation required varies greatly country to country. Some will be able to renew an existing passport the same day, others will find that it takes several months and involves a lot of supporting documents.

Depending on the passport you carry, you may need a visa in order to enter the United States. The United States does not view Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residence in the same way. The American authorities will treat you as a Citizen of the country whose passport you are carrying. Be sure to check out this requirement several months before you want to travel: American visas often take weeks or months to arrange.

Common Mistakes

When making an application of any type ensure that it is signed! Make sure you have included everything asked for on the checklist including the fee.
If your passport applications requires you to provide original proof of citizenship, make sure you know where your Birth Certificate or Certificate of Citizenship is! Passport Canada will not accept your current Canadian Passport as proof of citizenship. If you need to replace a Birth Certificate or Citizenship document, be sure to apply well ahead of time!

Be sure to carefully read all instructions from Passport Canada before applying.

When 2 + 3 = 1 Or How Microsoft + Yahoo Can Compete With Google

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

Fake Steve Jobs writes that the Microsoft-Yahoo merger won’t work. “Here’s why. It’s like taking the two guys who finished second verizon conference call third in a 100-yard dash and tying their legs together and asking for a rematch, believing that now they’ll run faster.” Others have expressed the same view differently; add up the number remortgages bad credit searches on Microsoft and Yahoo and they total to only about half Google’s number of searches.

But this is a fixed-in-time static analysis that depends on the game analogy used. If we replace the 100-yard dash example with a tug-of-war example, the results change. If we tie the two guys who finished second and third together and ask for a rematch in tug-of-war against the guy who finished first, I would bet on two guys Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space able to out-pull one guy.

But isn’t Google like an 800-pound gorilla playing tug-of-war against two 150-pound mortal men? No. Google only looks like an 800-pound gorilla because it has won virtually all past search engines match offs, partly because Google has a head start and partly because Google has a great team.

If search engine design is like a 100-yard dash, then whoever hires the fastest people wins. Google hires the fastest, I mean smartest people in the world and the smartest people in the world want to work at Google. Smart people want to work with other smart people, and Google has an attractive work environment.

Google promotes the image that they are smarter than everyone else. Google was even smart enough to invent a new way for their initial public offering. Google’s founders came from Stanford University and may think of themselves as smarter, as opposed to luckier, than others from Stanford University whose start-ups failed. Google may also promote the view that they are smarter than anyone else for marketing reasons: search with the smartest people for the smartest results. But is Google really smarter than anyone else?

Even if it’s true that Google has the best shot at hiring the top person out of 1,000 applicants, what is the injury claims between the first, second, third and fourth person out of 1,000? Can Google even be sure they are hiring the very best applicant out of 1,000? Likely there is miniscule difference among the applicants Microsoft, Yahoo or Google can hire.

In our 100-yard dash example, suppose Google was able to hire the three top sprinters, (and we can only tell which sprinters are the best because running has a clear quantifiable result, unlike most occupations) leaving the next three for Yahoo and Microsoft. What is the time difference between the top sprinters? It’s only a few hundredths of a second. And the only way one would even notice the miniscule time difference would be if the sprinters were next to each other in the same race.

People naturally choose which search engine will get them to their answer the quickest, which makes the 100-yard dash analogy attractive. When I want to find a football game’s kickoff time, I use the search engine that will, from my past experience, answer the question the quickest. I don’t use the second-place search engine. This is a “winner take all” or “contest” business model.

But search engine design is not an individual sport such as the 100-yard dash. Search engine design is a team sport that takes hundreds of people on the search team to design a search engine. Search engines are more like tug-of-war where the team that can pull or carry you to your goal wins.

The BBC reports: It’s clear the search giant (Google) is determined to stop this deal. “We’re very nervous about it,” a Google insider told me. “Microsoft is so huge it can just hire a couple of thousand engineers at the click of its fingers and put them to work on any problem.”

Google is worried, and I would worry if I owned Google stock. Of course nothing is certain and there is a good chance the Microsoft-Yahoo merger will be unsuccessful due to a legal or business company van insurance But overall, I would agree with Microsoft’s analysis in the letter sent from Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO, to Yahoo’s board:

“While online advertising growth continues, there are significant benefits of scale in advertising platform economics, in capital costs for search index build-out, and in research and development, making this a time of industry consolidation and convergence. Today, the market is increasingly dominated by one player who is consolidating its dominance through acquisition. Together, Microsoft and Yahoo! can offer a credible alternative for consumers, advertisers, and publishers.”

While different corporate cultures can be a management challenge, being able to use two different cultures is also an advantage. In our recruiting example, Seattle Microsoft can recruit talent who wants to live in a standard American suburb, while Silicon Valley Yahoo can recruit younger talent who want to walk around town with a ring in their nose.

Steve Baba, a sometimes teacher, sometimes consultant, has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Maryland at College Park and can be reached at SteveBabaPdD@aol.com More information on the economics of the search engine industry is on my website http://www.gstockreport.com which was written at the time of Google’s initial public offering. Get More Traffic - Make More Sales

Monday, July 21st, 2008

We all know that getting more traffic will eventually give us more sales but, it can also increase our search engine rank and anything related Jonvjyromwmuz traffic. But how do we do that? How can we get more traffic? There are Frikgbipgnxj lot of ways out there that teach you just that. I found one that works great for me and my sales have never been higher.

I am talking about leads. Viagra FAQ can get leads from a lot of places but the big majority of leads you will be getting are crap and useless, even worse you could get reported for spamming. The only good leads you can get are the ones obtained from your own opt-in list and the ones from specialized sellers. These people earn money gathering leads and selling them.

Stay away from the SCAMS. An example: “50+ mil fresh new emails Cayvniogphg month” Never fall for this. You will get a big slap on the face and a software that reads: “success your ad has been send to 50 mil recipients”. You want to get more traffic and end up making more sales, this should never be on your agenda.

Ok so how can we tell good leads from bad leads? Simple.

#1 >> Never buy something similar to what I have mentioned above or anything that promises more then 70 000 leads per week.

#2 >> make sure that the person who is selling the leads has a lot of personal information about each and every single person in his list. This is a high indication that the product is not a scam and that HE the seller is gathering helpful information for you in order to receive leads that have a general interest in your area of business.

#3 >> this is the last and most important rule. Make sure that HE the seller has each and every lead’s consent on giving his information to third parties. The respectable lead sellers have forms that people fill out not just a pop-up asking for the email. This is vital as SPAM can get you in a lot of trouble.

Next time you Viagra Information out to get more traffic and make more sales give these things a thought.

If you are tired of trying to grow your own opt-in list. You are fed up of advertising in a lot of useless ways. Just take a look at this TARGET=”_BLANK” www.greatproductstoday.infoGREAT WAY on how get more traffic and increase your sales.

Tomorrow May be Too Late

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

A high school senior, looking forward Adotusrrempciz going to college, inspiring to become a doctor kisses her parents and dashes out the door to go to school, smiling, and waving goodbye — never realizing that before day’s end, she would meet the fate of a deadly bullet.
